Radonova Laboratories and Durridge have signed a reseller agreement where Radonova will make the Durridge RAD7 radon and thoron detector available to the European market. So far over 5,000 units of RAD7 have been sold in six continents and the instrument has become a standard in the global scientific community, including mentions in over 2,500 research papers.

Durridge’s CAPTURE software has been updated to version 5.7.1. This update brings a large number of improvements, including an enhanced Radon Inspection Report editor and a more robust system for merging RAD7 data and managing spectrum histogram content. Note that due to a change in our web server previous versions of CAPTURE will not provide notification that a new version of the software is available. This is a one-time occurrence.

On July 7th Durridge will attend the 64th Annual Meeting of the Health Physics Society in Orlando, Florida.

DURRIDGE will be delivering a presentation on the RAD7 radon detector at the 11th annual Geotech Field Days conference in Denver on June 21st. Our event will include a special segment on vapor intrusion analysis from Geosyntec Consultants.

As a member of the project’s Industry Interest Group, DURRIDGE will be in attendance at the MetroRADON IIG meeting at PTB in Braunschweig, Germany on 18 June 2019. MetroRADON is a pan-European project aiming to develop reliable techniques and methodologies to enable SI traceable radon activity concentration measurements.

Durridge’s CAPTURE software for Windows and macOS has received a big update. The new version 5.7 features an enhanced Chart Recorder which logs a spectrum histogram for each RAD7 data point. It also offers improved networking capabilities and better support for Radon in Water accessories including the Big Bottle System.

Durridge’s free CAPTURE software for macOS and Windows has been updated to version 5.6.8. CAPTURE lets you download, graph, analyze, and export RAD7 data. The latest update makes it possible to create enhanced Run Summary reports, and the program now accounts for water salinity when calculating radon in water values.
